CFO Summit app for iPhone and iPad

CII CFO Summit is a national initiative for the CFO community spread largely across all industries and sectors. The Summit gathers opinions and learnings towards progress. CFO’s and executives from top Finance functions bring to forth the role play models they have adapted to over the years from every aspect or the corporate pyramid, base to top. The Summit will be in its successful Decade edition this year, having commenced in the year 2003.


The Summit is chaired by leading CFO’s over the years and will be led by Mr V S Parthasarathy, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., once again this year prior to his 2 years of leadership and guidance.

This year we see the role of a CFO changing with changing business environment. They are expected to perform the functions of core execution of corporate strategy - both organic and inorganic, so as to attain long- term sustained progress, value addition and wealth creation. Further, to align with the Government’s priorities of speedy economic growth, it is imperative that the contribution of the CFOs, whether in rural, urban or multinational background of Industry, are recognized to create a synergy between macro-economic goals and industries contribution to achieve them.

Thus the theme for this edition is ‘The Future CFO – Thriving in Chaos and Driving Change’.


With this background, the decade edition of the CFO Summit would have a 360 degree focus on the challenges being faced by CFOs in small and medium organizations in rural areas to the larger companies in urban areas. Further, there would be exchange of ideas, learning and opinion among the CFOs of leading organization on how to successfully transit to new regulatory regimes and also overcome the various operational and financial hurdles.
